Crackle Finish

• Pureco Crackle Finish is a water-based medium that is used to create an eggshell type of crackle appearance on your paintwork
• Australian Made & Owned, Eco Friendly and nontoxic
• 200ml

How to use: 

1. Apply a base coat of paint to the surface of the project and let it dry. The base coat will show through the crackled topcoat, so choose colours that contrast nicely. TIP: you can skip this step and let the original finish of the piece shine through. 
2. Brush an even coat of Crackle Finish onto the piece in all areas you want to have the crackle.  The crackle finish will take approximately one hour to dry depending on the thickness of the coat, also the weather conditions. 
3. Using a single sweeping motion with light pressure apply your final coat of paint. The crackle will begin to show immediately, it is important to not continue brushing over the crackle as this will erase the cracks and they may not reappear. If you miss anywhere wait for your paint to dry then touch up. 
4. Once your final coat of paint is dry (approx. 4hrs) seal with any topcoat of wax.
