Studio Hire

Studio Location 3/144 Strickland Road East Bendigo

We don't all have the room to get creative in our homes and some times it's nice to break things up & get out of the house! Hire a space in our studio to work on your projects. Tinker around, whip out a paint brush, take some photos, the possibilities are endless in our 2 hour studio hire session.

Studio Space Hire - 2 Hour: For this session you will be designated an area to work on your project (a table will be provided if required). Please BYO (bring your own) paints, Accessories and anything else you might need for your session. You are welcome to purchase anything you may require from us at a discounted rate during your session.
If your project needs some drying time we can store your project for you! The first 24hrs is FREE and $5 per day thereafter payable at collection. 

Studio Space Hire - 2 Hour + Tool Hire: As above + hire our tools (Orbital Sander, Palm Sander, Drill, Electric Stapler) as needed in your session. Subject to availability.
PLEASE NOTE: For your safety No loose clothing & closed toe shoes (no bracelets or necklaces) must be worn. Eye protection, ears protection & mask must be worn at all times when operating tools - these can be provided, however you are welcome to bring your own. We will demonstrate how to use these tools. If your project needs some drying time we can store your project for you! The first 24hrs is FREE and $5 per day thereafter payable at collection. 

Staging Wall Hire - 2 Hour: Hire our staging wall & lighting set up + Full access to all of our staging props. BYO phone/camera & items to be photographed, you're also welcome to bring your own props.

We are an accessible space with no steps ect however our bathroom & kitchen are not wheelchair friendly or have any accessibility accomodations. 

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a workshop, our studio will be open to public as normal and we will be busy working on our own pieces and other business tasks. Although we will be around please understand that we will not be able to assist with your project. Terms & Conditions

Studio hire & Staging Wall Hire is a two hour session, if additional time is required and we have no other bookings for the day you are welcome to book a further two hour session. Storage is FREE for the first 24hrs and $5 per day thereafter, payable prior to collecting your piece. 

Your booking is only confirmed once FULL PAYMENT is made via the website. A NON-REFUNDABLE, TRANSFERABLE  deposit of $20 will be retained for cancellation within 7 days of booking date. If your booking is cancelled on our behalf your full monies will be refunded within 7 working days or you may choose another date. 

All monies paid will NOT BE REFUNDED if cancellation on your behalf occurs within 24hrs of the booking start date & time, this includes no show. This is NOT a workshop, the studio will be open to public,

TOOL HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS:

The Painted Brush & Co will:
1.1 Allow the Customer to use the Equipment for the Hire Period on site;
1.2 Provide the Equipment to the Customer clean and in good working order.

The Customer must:
2.1 On or before Commencement (or as otherwise specifically agreed with The Painted Brush & CO), the Customer will pay the Hire Charge.
2.2 Operate the Equipment safely, strictly in accordance with the law, only for its intended use, and in accordance with any manufacturer’s instructions whether supplied by The Painted Brush & Co or posted on the Equipment;
2.3 Satisfy itself at Commencement that the Equipment is suitable for its purposes;
2.4 Notify The Painted Brush & Co if further instruction is required to safely operate the equipment
2.5 Indemnify The Painted Brush & Co for all injury and/or damage to the extent caused or contributed to by the Customer to persons and property in relation to the Equipment and its operation and have adequate insurance to cover all liabilities incurred as a result of the use of the Equipment;
2.6 Conduct a thorough hazard and risk assessment before using the Equipment and comply with all Occupational Health and Safety laws relating to the Equipment and its operation;
2.7 Report and provide full details to The Painted Brush & Co of any accident or damage to the Equipment as soon as practicably possible and not more than two business days of the accident or damage occurring;
2.8 Sign any documentation requested by The Painted Brush & Co at such intervals as reasonably stipulated by The Painted Brush & Co, to confirm the Customer’s acceptance of these Hire Contract Conditions;
2.9 Assist and co-operate fully and promptly with The Painted Brush & Co  and/or its insurer in the investigation, settlement or defence of any claim or matter relating to a Hire Schedule on which the Customer is named;

The Customer must not:
2.10 Tamper with, damage or repair the Equipment;
2.11 Lose or part with possession of the Equipment;
2.12 Rely upon any representation relating to the Equipment or its operation other than those contained in this Contract;

 Payments by the customer:
3.1 On or before Commencement (or as otherwise specifically agreed with The Painted Brush & Co), the Customer will pay the Hire Charge.

(a) the full cost of repairing any damage to the Equipment caused or contributed to by the Customer, unless expressly agreed otherwise in this Contract;
(b) GST, any other taxes or duties, and all tolls, fines, penalties, levies or charges payable in respect of this Contract or arising from the Customer’s use of the Equipment.
