Shipping Policy

Orders are processed 7 days a week and shipped Monday - Saturday. Excluding Public Holidays. We pride ourselves on processing and shipping your orders as quickly as possible, in most cases your order will be processed and shipped within 24hrs, however please allow 1-3 business days. During peak periods where we receive a high number of additional orders please allow up to 7 days for your order to be processed and shipped.

If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Once your order has left The Painted Brush & Co premises, transit time is out of our control and at the mercy of the chosen shipping carrier. In the event that we cannot provide you with a specific product, whether due to its unavailability, being out of stock, or an error in pricing on our website, we will promptly notify you via email.

Please note we are a small family run business, on occasion we will be unable to ship for short periods of time, these will be disclosed in the announcement bar at the top of every page of our website & on our Social Media Pages.


Domestic Shipping Times & Rates

Australia Post: 7-14 days.

Courier 3-10 days - please note we will only use a courier service when your order is large and it is more economical option.


Domestic Shipping rates are as follows

Australia Post - Flat Rate Shipping $12. Free shipping applies for all orders $85+*

Australia Post - Express $15. 

Large items - $19.99 

Please note all Furniture & Decor listings include Shipping Information.

We are able to organise couriers to most of Victoria including Melbourne, alternatively you are welcome to organise your own transport. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

International Shipping Times & Rates

The most economical option will be chosen based on your location.

Australia Post: 10-21 days.

Courier 10-30 days.


International Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order. 

We currently ship to New Zealand, United States, Canada, United Kingdom & France. 

Please email if you are outside of these countries and we can arrange delivery for you.

Please note furniture & decor will not be shipped internationally.


International import fees, duties & taxes

The responsibility for all import fees, duties, or taxes related to your order lies with you, the customer. 

Packaging & Insurance

We make use of recycled packing before using new packaging. All orders are packed and padded to help avoid damage and to ensure your order arrives safely. We encourage you to reuse or donate your packaging to continue its life. 95% of our packaging is fully recyclable, including the tape and labels.


All orders are shipped with your invoice & product information for your convenience.


All orders are shipped with FULL insurance. The Painted Brush & Co is NOT responsible for any damages that occur in transit due to any act or omission of third party delivery organisations and couriers used by us. We will not replace or refund lost or damaged items. We will not be liable for any loss or damages suffered by you as a result of any delay or failure to deliver which is due to circumstances beyond our control. It is your responsibility to contact the carrier and follow their instructions regarding claiming insurance for lost or damaged packages. We are happy to arrange delivery of your order to an address that is different from your credit or debit card billing address. Please ensure that you have checked your address details carefully on submitting your order, The Painted Brush & Co is NOT responsible for lost deliveries which result from an incorrect delivery address, as entered by you.

Delivery addresses cannot be changed once the order has been dispatched. Orders cannot be redirected once shipped.


When you receive your order

Please check the products upon delivery to ensure they correspond with the type and colour specified in your order. Where the products are incorrect we request you take photos of the products, and send the photos to us at along with details of your order, prior to returning the products to us. We can replace incorrect products provided the products originally supplied to you are returned to us in an as new, unopened and original condition with all packaging intact and not tampered with.
